Patients information

Patient Support

Maxillofacial Prosthetists are not normally trained in counselling skills. We are happy to listen to you and will try to help in whatever way we can. We can usually advise you of the right person to speak to as we have a wide network of support contacts within our Hospital units.

Patient and family support groups are also a good source of information and help to families.

This site will help you get information about our profession and the work we do. A list of useful contacts has been provided to help you gain further information you need. This list is not exhaustive as many help groups are now available to help on a local and national scale. These groups have no official links or endorsements from the IMPT but have been sourced from members and search engines.
